Doretha Phillips, Communications Coordinator

Doretha and her husband, Robert, joined LifeSprings Church in 2006. Since that time, she has worked in various media support roles as a member of the Media Team. As a member of the team, Doretha creates visual graphics for the many ministry-related activities and events at LifeSprings; common mediums include web, print, rich media products, and voiceovers for weekly live sermons and pre-recorded broadcast programs.

A self-employed graphic designer and videographer by trade, Doretha currently serves as the Communications Coordinator for LifeSprings Church. Her visual design skills as well as her technical and corporate communications background in the private sector makes her a great fit for this role.

Since joining LifeSprings, Doretha says that she has learned the meaning of "stepping into the deep things of God": "At LifeSprings, there is a depth to the leaaders and elders here that is unique, yet profound. It isn't just about salvation, but also about growth and understanding what it means to walk in covenant with the Lord. The LifeSprings Communications Team serves under the direction and at the discretion of the pastoral staff and elders of LifeSprings Church. It functions as the communication vehicle through which information regarding events and activities is disseminated into and out of the LifeSprings body.

• Supporting and facilitating access to pertinent information regarding LifeSprings through clear, consistent communication electronically and/or print.
• Creating community and media awareness by disseminating relevant news and information regarding LifeSprings events and activities within the church, the Liberty Hill community and beyond.
• Preserving and promoting LifeSprings Church's image in local media outlets and the community-at-large by coordinating, scheduling, and conducting media interviews (newspaper, broadcast radio, and television), and serving as the point of contact for all marketing/advertising promotions.
• Crafting and reinforcing a unified message and strategy around the LifeSprings brand and public image through transparency and fidelity.

"Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving; withal praying for us also, that God may open unto us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds; that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
