David Joiner

Pastor David Joiner was born in Miami, FL in 1963. He moved to Texas in 1968 where he later met and married his wife, Laurie (Preuss) Joiner. Laurie is a native Texan and was raised in a small town named Taylor located north of Austin. He has two daughters, Kaitlin and Kristen, who both love to be in the house of the Lord. In 1977, Pastor David gave his heart to the Lord and was healed from the pains of an abusive childhood. In November 1999, the Lord led Pastor David and his family to LifeSprings Church where he has continued to grow in his knowledge and passion for the Lord.

Besides being an ordained minister, Pastor David is also a Certified Peace Officer. He recently retired from serving with the Travis County Sheriff's Department. Presently, Pastor David serves full-time as the Senior Pastor at LifeSprings Church where he oversees the day-to-day functions of the church. He frequently travels and serves as guest speaker in churches in China, Mexico, as well as here in the U.S. Pastor David assists with adult men mentorship, singles and married couple counseling.

Pastor David believes the Lord led him to LifeSprings where he can play an instrumental role in seeing God's purpose fulfilled in people's lives. He counts it a privilege to spend time with every member of LifeSprings and imparting God's Word into their lives. He believes, especially, that God has placed destiny within every man, woman, and child, and that His covenant blessings are ours for generations to come.
