Barbara Grove, Director

Barbara Grove was born in Bozeman, Montana in 1961. She later moved to Texas in 1980 where she eventually met and married her husband, Jon. In 1992, Barbara gave her heart to the Lord and soon became a member of LifeSprings Christian Church in 1993.

In ministry at LifeSprings, Barbara served as the leader of the Intercessory Prayer Team and is trained in the prophetic through Kingdom Expansion Ministries. For seven years, Barbara served as a LifeSprings Home Group Leader. Currently, she is serving as the Director of Media Relations and the Healing Ministry. She has been trained in healing and deliverance through Sozo International Ministries. Additionally, she is a Certified Master Instructor with the Joint Commission on Chaplaincy Accreditation and Education. She is also certified in Pastoral Crisis Counseling, Traumatic Stress Intervention and Crisis Counseling, Critical Incident Stress Management, and Disaster Response for First Responder Chaplains. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Ministry, with an emphasis in Christian education, and taught History and Science at LifeSprings School for four years.

Her husband, Jon, is a native Texan from Texas City. He has been serving our troops in Iraq for the past several years and is currently serving in Bagram, Afghanistan. Together, they have six wonderful children and four grandchildren.

As the leader over Media Relations, Barbara oversees the staffing and coordination of technical and production activities of the media support team which include sound/audio engineering, lighting, rich media/video production, web and graphic design.

Our vision is to see believers immersed in the total worship experience through the use of visually engaging mediums such as sound, video, and lighting.

Our mission is two-fold:

• To provide exceptional operational and technical support to all Life Springs Church ministries in the areas of media development and production. This mission encompasses sound technology and reinforcement, video production, visual design/communications, and technology strategy consulting.
• To assist area churches in establishing, training, and implementing their media ministries.

Our passion is to utilize our God-given gifts to further promote the delivery and impact of the gospel in visually compelling ways, creatively, efficiently, and with excellence. We believe that we play an integral part in establishing the Kingdom of God and Life Springs Church as a global apostolic center.

It is the heart of the media team to reach out internally within our church by facilitating the smooth implementation of technology and media for each departmental ministry. It is also our wish to assist fellow churches in the surrounding areas by lending our hands and ears. Our goal is to assist them in the development, training, and implementation of their media ministry by lending our expertise where needed.
