In 1997 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Every day since then I have taken medication prescribed by my Doctor. Many times I have discontinued my medication for various reasons, however my symptoms would reappear.

Three years ago, Rev. Cheryl Schang, author of “He Healed Them All”, came and spoke at LifeSpring Christian Church. She taught us that sickness and disease have spiritual roots. I then read “A More Excellent Way” by Henry W. Wright and began to apply my newly found insight to my sickness. Realizing that the roots for Hypothyroidism are stress, anxiety and worry, I began with dealing with those issues. I also had the healing team at my church pray for me. They, too, have been trained by Rev. Schang and Henry W. Wright.

By faith, I then stopped my medication and began declaring that by “His stripes I am healed”.

I recently went to my Doctor for a cold and asked her to please check my blood. The nurse called three days later to let me know my blood levels were normal! I was healed in 2005 and now in May of 2006 the symptoms are no where to be found! God does all things well!

When I was 14 years old the doctors discovered that I had cysts on my ovaries. I was placed on birth control pills to help prevent them from reoccurring. It didn’t work, so we tried other types of birth control pills. The cysts were consistently coming back. I learned to live with the irregularity and the pain, as it became the norm in my life. I moved to Texas in the summer of 2004 and started attending LifeSprings. I also began to see yet another doctor who put me on another birth control pill. The pain was increasing so the doctor did several ultrasounds throughout 2005. In July during an ultrasound the doctor said both ovaries were completely covered with cysts. The doctor scheduled a laparoscopy for the following week. That Sunday I went for prayer and I remember someone specifically prayed that they would find nothing wrong when they did the laparoscopy. On July 28th I went in for the laparoscopy and when I woke up I heard the doctor say he found nothing! No cysts! No scar tissue! No sacs or fluid from ruptured cysts! I knew this was medically impossible! In one week all those cysts just disappeared! I was healed and I know that God worked a miracle in my life!

In November 2005 I was married to a wonderful man. Eric Jones prophesied over us during the ceremony. After the ceremony Eric pulled me to the side and said “The Lord says, don’t wait to have children.” Prior to our marriage I asked the healing team to pray for me as I was worried about not being able to have children. The doctors had told me that it was not possible with the problems I was having. They broke the curse of death spoken over my womb and called forth life. So, in July the doctors tell me I can’t produce eggs and in November God tells us not to wait to start a family! It was a battle…what if...but I chose to speak and believe that God had healed me.

On January 15th, almost two months after the wedding, Eric Jones returned to LifeSprings with a message for our body. During the worship Eric leaned over and asked me if I was pregnant. I said “no.” He asked “Are you sure?” I thought well if you’re asking then no. He walked off and I began to wonder “Can I be pregnant?” I went home that afternoon and took three tests all of which were positive! I’m pregnant! I went to the doctor on February 3rd for a check up and first ultrasound. I saw our little miracle and I heard its heart beating! The doctor said everything looked beautiful with me and the baby! Our little miracle is due on September 25, 2006! Thank you Jesus, that you have made all things new!
