.: About Bishop Rhea :.

Bishop Dr. Ronald D. Rhea was born in Covington, VA in 1950. He moved to Texas in 1965 where he met and married his wife, Donna (Gerik) Rhea. Donna is a native Texan and hails from a small town named West, located on the north side of Waco. He has one daughter named Crystal who loves worship. She and her husband, Andres Mancilla, are involved in the church. Bishop Rhea and Donna have three wonderful grandchildren. In 1982, he gave his heart to the Lord and was immediately delivered from alcohol and drug addiction by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In ministry, he is the founder of "I Can" Ministries and has authored several articles and books on leadership/ministry. His recent book, "How to Finish First by Being Second," lays down a blueprint for ministers and laymen, the fundamental principles of servant leadership; more importantly, how everyday people can tap into the divine connections and opportunities God has established to reach their destiny. In his book, he teaches that by understanding covenant relationships, leadership, and mentorship, believers will discover how to be positioned for success and fulfilling God-given vision.

Bishop Rhea has had the privilege of speaking to and on behalf of many churches, ministries, and para-church ministries here in the United States, China, Ghana, Nigeria and Mexico. He is well-known both nationally and internationally as a gifted, motivational speaker/teacher and travels frequently participating in seminars and conferences across the country. He was previously a board member for Kingdom Expansion Ministries and is currently serving on the board of directors for Buddy Hicks' Ministries and Agape Gospel Mission. Bishop Rhea is a partner/teacher with Fuerza Agape Ministries as well as God's Money Man Ministries.

Although ordained as minister, Bishop Rhea also holds degrees in business management and marketing, along with a Masters degree in Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry. While employed in the private sector, Bishop Rhea once worked as an Underwriter for one of the largest insurance companies in the United States, and previously owned three small companies as a entrepreneur.

In the political arena, he has served twice as a Precinct Chairman and was appointed twice as a State Delegate.

Bishop Rhea believes that his education in God’s Word and serving through the LifeSprings congregation and his local community have unequivocally prepared him to serve as a leader more than any other institution with which he has been involved. He finds it unique that God raised him up as Pastor from within the ranks of the congregation of LifeSprings Christian Church. Though he was saved and matured in the very congregation that he now serves, he counts it a great privilege and a great calling!
